Muscle Man Number 1

15 min, not bad? Movie in the background was "W.". I see some things that are off... but I like to just do it and then toss them away. I can see a lot of sexual innuendoes' coming about... and must say—let's keep it clean. At least, let the drawing do the talking.

Men, Tights, & Muscles: The Beginnings

Weather it'd be the elegant softness of Michelangelo's David or the blue-nakedness of Dave Gibbons' Dr. Manhattan, I LOVE everything (ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING) about these beautiful muscular creations. When I was 3 y.o., I drew my preschool classmate's the Mighty Morphing Power Rangers... fighting men in suits. When I was in 3rd grade, I was introduced to the wonderful world of Dragonball and couldn't stop drawing Supersaiyan Goku with lots of muscles. I remember this... I remember a lot...especially when my elementary school teachers asked my mom if everything was all right in the household... of course they would... because I was a tiny little asian girl drawing muscular men!

Years past, and now I find myself doodling these men while talking to people on the phone or watching tv or listening to instructors talk. During orientation week at school, we had to introduce ourselves with the following answer to "What's your guilty pleasure?!". At that moment I realized this...

I like to draw muscular men.

Enjoy the muscular goodness.
